Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026. This policy explains what information AffirmGear collects, why, and what your choices are — written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who we are
AffirmGear ("we," "us") is a US-based custom corporate apparel company. We operate affirmgear.com, the AffirmGear Design Studio, and the ordering and quoting services connected to them. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@affirmgear.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and account details — name, work email, company name, phone number when you request a quote, subscribe to our newsletter, or create a Design Studio project.
- Design materials — logos, brand guidelines, artwork and design briefs you upload. These are used solely to create and produce your apparel.
- Order information — products, quantities, shipping addresses, and the names and sizes of garment recipients when you use per-person packaging or split shipping.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We never store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications — emails, chat messages with our team and Design Assistant, and survey responses.
When you open the Design Studio we ask for your name, company website and work email, and store them with your designs so we can reply to you.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used in the Studio, referring links, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Device data — browser type, operating system, and screen size, used to make the site and Studio work properly.
- Cookies — a small set for sign-in, preferences, and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not sell advertising and do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To design, produce, ship and support your orders — the core of everything we do.
- To generate design proposals in the Studio from the materials you upload.
- To communicate about quotes, orders, samples and support requests.
- To send marketing email only if you've opted in — every message includes one-click unsubscribe.
- To improve our products, Studio and site through aggregate analytics.
- To meet legal obligations, including tax and commercial record-keeping.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded brand assets for anything other than your own projects. Your logo never appears in our marketing or portfolio without written permission.
Recipient information
When a company orders apparel for its team, we receive recipients' names, sizes and sometimes home addresses. We use this information only to produce, package and deliver that order, retain it to make reorders easy for the ordering company, and never contact recipients for marketing. If you're a garment recipient and want your details removed, email us and we'll handle it directly.
Who we share it with
- Our production team — the people who make your garments work from the designs, sizes and quantities needed to produce them, under confidentiality obligations.
- Shipping carriers — names and addresses needed for delivery.
- Service providers — hosting, payment processing, email delivery and analytics vendors who process data on our instructions.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
That's the whole list. No data brokers, no advertisers.
International transfers
We currently ship within the United States and use our own production. Order data is shared only with the carriers, payment processors and service providers needed to fulfill it. Where laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with our vendors.
Retention
We keep order records and design files for as long as you're a customer — that's what keeps your design and size history on file for reorders — and for the period required by tax and commercial law afterward. You can ask us to delete design files or personal data sooner; we'll comply except where retention is legally required.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls limiting who can view your data, and vetted vendors. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly and tell you plainly what happened.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and US states such as California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of them, email hello@affirmgear.com — we respond to all requests within 30 days and don't discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify active customers by email before the changes take effect. We won't quietly weaken your protections.
