Crest & Co.: oatmeal fleece and an oxblood serif.
A consultancy that wins on taste, showing up to workshops in laptop stickers and whatever sweater was clean.
Nothing sporty and nothing loud
Crest & Co. wins work on taste. Their decks look like a design studio made them and their office reads like a members' club. At recruiting events and client workshops, though, the team looked like everyone else's. The partners wanted the firm's editorial sensibility on the people themselves, with nothing sporty and nothing loud.
The firm's own serif, stitched in oxblood
On this set the type is the design. The firm's mark is set in its own serif, the one on their report covers, and embroidered in oxblood thread on the chest of an oatmeal hoodie. We chose oatmeal over a brand color because in oatmeal the 330 GSM fleece photographs like knitwear.
The second piece is a light-blue oxford shirt with the mark at the cuff, for the days a hoodie won't do. The tee and the cap carry the ampersand alone, tonal.
The Oatmeal Set has four pieces.
The set also includes the light-blue oxford shirt, 140 GSM, with the mark stitched at the cuff for client dinners, at $24.59 before the stitching. Every mark in the set is embroidered, and because embroidery takes one business day to price, these figures cover the garments alone. The design and everyone's sizes stay on file with us, and the firm adds to the set as it grows.
