Meridian Capital: quiet luxury, firm-wide.
A firm that would never wear a logo tee, and a drawer of vendor polos to prove it.
The test no firm apparel had passed
Meridian's chief of staff had one test for firm apparel, which was whether a partner would pack it for a client offsite by choice. Nothing had passed. A polyester polo with a logo billboard on the chest wasn't going to, and neither was a quieter version of the same thing. The brief was to keep the branding quiet enough that a stranger wouldn't spot it and a client would.
Navy thread on navy piqué, and one brass monogram
The mark came from Meridian's own letterhead, a hairline grid in the brand guidelines. We stitched it as a tone-on-tone micro-check, navy thread on navy piqué, visible when light moves across it and not otherwise. From arm's length it looks like a plain navy polo, and the check only shows at handshake distance.
The one flourish is a brass-thread M at the left cuff, placed where a hand comes across a table. There's no printed mark anywhere in the kit, since none of the pieces needed one.
What's in the Trading Floor Set
The figures above are the garments alone, because we price the stitching within one business day. Each set went out boxed and sleeved with the partner's name, and the quote they approved was the total they paid.
