Quality control, one piece at a time
We check every piece by hand, one at a time, against the design you approved. A piece with a crooked stitch goes back before it's packed, and a defect that slips through is covered by our remake guarantee.

The checklist app the packing team uses
Suhail, our CTO, wrote the QC checklist app our packing team works through. The check is the last step before a piece is sleeved with the wearer's name. A problem caught there stays on the bench and never goes into the box.
A founder on the production floor
Faraz, our CEO, spent eight years buying apparel for sales and field teams at two software companies, and he kept a drawer of forty conference polos he never wore. These days he walks the production floor most mornings.
OEKO-TEX certified fabric on all eight garments
Every fabric across our eight garments is OEKO-TEX certified. That runs from the 220 GSM ring-spun cotton of the tee and the 200 GSM piqué of the polo to the 330 GSM brushed fleece in the hoodies and the crewneck.
If a defect reaches you, we remake it.
Report the defect within 30 days with a photo and we'll remake the piece free. Send the photo to hello@affirmgear.com, and someone on our team will reply within one business day.

Quality control questions we get
Do you check every piece, or a few from each order?
Every piece. Each one gets a hand check before it's sleeved, so a 180-piece order means 180 checks.
Do I approve a sample or the design?
The design. You approve it on the proof, and it's what we check each piece against. We only make a sample set if you ask for one, and it's paid.
Are the fabrics certified?
Yes. All eight of our garments are made from OEKO-TEX certified fabric.
