Sizing

Corporate apparel sizing, XS to 4XL.

Every garment we make runs XS to 4XL at one price. This guide gives you a fit opinion for each of the eight, a US to EU conversion table, and a way to collect 60 sizes without a Slack thread.

10 min readUpdated October 2026

A 4XL hoodie with one print costs $23.96, the same as a small. We don't add a size surcharge on any of the eight products, because a surcharge tells part of your team they're an inconvenience.

Once the range is covered, most sizing failures come from the process around the chart. The usual ones are a Slack thread where a form should be and no plan for the person who joins the week after delivery.

XS to 4XL at one price

Every garment we size comes in XS through 4XL, and every size costs the same, whether it's a printed tee at $17.02 or a printed zip hoodie at $25.22. A mix of one XS, thirty mediums and two 4XLs is a normal order.

The ends of the run are where the program is judged. The person wearing 4XL notices whether the order included them, and so does everyone watching them open the box.

The minimum counts the whole order. Our minimum is 15 pieces across the order and never per size. Fifteen polos across six sizes is an order, and you never pay for a size curve you don't need. If you need fewer than 15, tell us what you have in mind.

A fit opinion for each garment

Three cuts cover everything we make. Whichever one applies to the garment you're ordering, print it next to the size chart.

  • Straight cut. This is one block for everyone, and the tee, both hoodies, the crewneck and the cap use it. The tee runs true and people should order their normal size. The hoodie and the zip hoodie are cut roomy, and anyone who wants a closer fit should size down.
  • Tailored cut. The shoulder is narrower, the waist is shaped and the body is shorter. The polo comes tailored or straight at the same price, and it runs true. Anyone between sizes should size down, because the piqué relaxes half a size after two washes. The oxford shirt is tailored but forgiving, though people with broad shoulders should size up.
  • Relaxed, drop shoulder. The hoodie and the crewneck are built this way on purpose, and most people keep their normal size in the crewneck. Say so on the size form, or half the team will order their usual size and get the look by accident.

A single sentence next to the chart, such as "runs true" or "cut roomy, size down for a closer fit", prevents more mis-orders than any measurement table.

Converting sizes across borders

Delivery is US only for now, but a team that hires across borders still has people who think in EU sizes, and a medium is not the same garment in every system. US and UK letters mostly agree with each other, while EU numbers drift at the ends of the run. The table gives the letter and, more usefully, the flat chest width of the garment.

USUKEUChest width (garment, cm)
XSXS4446 to 48
SS4649 to 51
MM48 to 5052 to 54
LL52 to 5455 to 57
XLXL5658 to 61
2XL2XL5862 to 65
3XL3XL6066 to 69
4XL4XL6270 to 73

Chest width, in the last column, is the one measurement that means the same thing in every system. Measure a shirt the person already likes, flat across the chest, and match it to that column. Our size charts publish both cm and inches. For a team that hires across borders, put that one instruction on the size form and most of the questions stop.

Collecting sizes without the spreadsheet

The usual failure is a spreadsheet link in a channel, three reminders and eight guessed sizes the night before the deadline, and it takes four steps to avoid.

  1. One form, one deadline. Ask for a name, a size and a cut preference. Give it five working days and say what happens to anyone who doesn't answer.
  2. Put the chart in the form. Every click between the question and the chart loses answers.
  3. Set a default. Announce that anyone who doesn't answer gets a medium, or the size from their last order, because the announcement is what makes people answer.
  4. For events, add a buffer. A few extra pieces in M to XL cover guests and no-shows. An onboarding kit program doesn't need one, because a new hire, even in a size you didn't order the first time, is an email with a quantity.

You can also skip the form, because the Design Studio makes a share link for every collection. People open it, see the designs and pick a size and a cut, and the order builds itself. Each piece then arrives sleeved with the wearer's name, which also settles distribution day.

Sizing by type of program

Sizing a uniform program

Order two pieces per person, one to wear and one in the wash. Ask for sizes again once a year at reorder, because bodies change, and a program that lets someone update a size without a fuss keeps the uniform looking sharp.

Collect event sizes at registration.

Ask for sizes when people register instead of the week before the show, and follow the eight-week timeline in the booth apparel guide.

Gifts when you can't ask for a size

Pick forgiving pieces. The cap is one size and fits 54 to 61 cm, and the hoodie is cut roomy enough that M to XL covers most people. The gifting guide has more on choosing pieces for people you can't measure.

A fit kit for the office

For an office of thirty or more, the most accurate method is physical. Add a size run of the tee to your first order: S through 2XL is five printed tees at $17.02, or $85.10, and it counts toward your order minimum and the volume tier. Keep the five in a labeled box near the office manager for the week before the deadline, where people can try one on and write a size on the form. That removes the two expensive errors, the hopeful guess and the cautious one. Remote teams get most of the effect from the measure-a-shirt instruction and the chest widths above. Either way, keep the final size list on the order record, because it turns next year's reorder into a five-minute job.

Questions we get.

What size range should a corporate program cover?

XS to 4XL, at the same price in every size. Most pieces on most teams will be M to XL, and the sizes at either end are where people notice whether the program included them.

How do I collect sizes from a large team?

Use one form with the size chart inside it, a five-day deadline and an announced default for anyone who doesn't answer. You can also send the Design Studio share link, which collects a size and a cut per person and builds the order.

Should I order extra pieces beyond the collected sizes?

For events, yes. Order a few extra in M to XL for guests and no-shows. An ongoing program doesn't need them, because your design and sizes are saved with the order and a top-up beats a box of buffer stock.

How do US sizes convert to EU and UK?

US and UK letters match for tops. US M is about EU 48 to 50, US L is EU 52 to 54 and US XL is EU 56. Letters are approximate, and the flat chest width in cm is the only reliable reference across borders.

Collect every size with one link.
